Hi, I’m John Schick, a Toronto based sales representative, licenced with Sutton Group Associates Realty located near the corner of Dupont Street and Davenport Avenue, in the Annex. I love selling real estate and the journey it takes to get there. I joined Sutton Group in 2007 when I began my real estate career. I chose Sutton Group Associates because of their long-standing reputation in mid-town Toronto as well as the resources and support which the brokerage provides to its agents. Of course, it didn’t hurt that my father, Alan Schick, and my long-time friend Max Horner, were also agents of the brokerage. While my father passed away in 2016, I enjoyed the time we had together, including working together, and I continue to work at Sutton Group, with colleague Max who operates this website with me.
I have primarily worked in the residential real estate market, representing homeowners, home buyers and tenants, of all kinds and in many different regions of Toronto. Selling and leasing houses, townhomes and condominium apartments, including rental properties. I am familiar with the residential tenancies act and the rules and guidelines which it is comprised of. Conducted a-number-of commercial real estate transactions which include both commercial real estate sales and leases. In general, seen many different types of deals happen and have witnessed some fall apart. It is these experiences which I take with me into the next real estate transaction.
I am a part-time real estate agent and have been since I became licenced in real estate in 2007. I enjoy taking part in many aspects of business including Accounting, Marketing, Legal Agreements and Information Technology. After completing a degree in Administrative Studies in 2005, I started my career in the accounting and business affairs department of a Television and Film Producer where I stayed for 13 years while concurrently working at Sutton Group. In 2013, I started a company of my own which provides some of the best IT service Toronto has to offer, and in 2018 left the Film Business to focus my energy on my real estate career and my own IT service company. Since I work for myself, I can be available to address your real estate needs whenever the need arises.
I believe that my real estate experience, in combination with my experience working in other industries and operating my own business makes me one well rounded realtor. It also puts me in a position to offer a unique real estate experience while putting my clients at an advantage. I take on 4 to 8 transactions annually, which ensures I can focus on each of my clients and give them the attention they deserve. We are connected with a plethora of real estate related professionals who can assist you along the way. My colleague Max and I provide nothing short of full-service realty brokerage and refrain from offering MLS listings on their own.
